LaSalle College Vancouver’s "Kiss the Summer Goodbye" Livestream Rooftop Party - September, 2020
An event with a whole new experience for LCV! Graduates of the school had put this together for everybody to enjoy online. From the rooftop of the campus itself, DJ preformed live while the rest of the team showcased work from the graduates of 2020. With these lights and loud music, this party could be noticed from across nearly all of East Vancouver. Haley shot behind the scenes for the rest of the crew to showcase their great friendship and teamwork.
Lunar New Year Event - February, 2020
This event took place at the Museum of Surrey. It consisted of multiple fassinating performances from the Vancouver Cantonese Opera. Including many beautiful songs, a lion dance, and historic entertainment. They even allowed the audience to see how they prepare for a show, view their gear, and get close to the equipment. This collection of photos captures some of the incredible work from the Cantonese Opera.
LaSalle College Vancouver’s International Design Battle - January, 2020
While attending school, Haley would regularly volunteer to take photos of the various events that took place at LaSalle College Vancouver.
This event was put together for the L.A.B (Language Across Borders) students to learn, experience, and display their skills with different cultures all around the world!
It started with the graduation and certificate ceremony. Teachers would express their gratitude towards their students.
Before the actual battle had begun, the teachers and students got a chance to speak and have lunch together.
Once the event commenced; much chaotic excitement took place during this time, but everybody had an absolute blast! Teams of teachers with their class would have a limited time to race and collect supplies for their display. They then had received another time limit to decorate and design a table to showcase their given country.
While creating their masterpieces, student judges marked each group on various categories such as; teamwork, organization, overall look, and so on. After much intense creative construction, the panel of judges had chosen the Bolivia team as the winners.
Then afterwards the party continued with music and socializing til the event had finished.
